Wheel Clamping Appeals
All offenders can appeal against your wheel clamping and removal by following the procedure below:
• All appeals must be in writing only (appeals will not be dealt with over the phone).
• A copy of the clamp-release fee receipt must be enclosed with your appeal reply
• A self stamped Addressed Envelope must be enclosed (no SAE, no reply).
• All appeals made must be received in within 7 days of the date of the offence as on the receipt.
• All the above must be followed to ensure a reply and set to the address below.
• All appeals will be responded to within 28 days of receipt.
Photographic Evidence:
Offenders should note before making an appeal that all vehicles when clamped or removed are photographed by digital camera, which is date- and time-stamped showing the offence committed.
Photographs are for internal use only and they will only be passed over to a specialist debt collection agency and used as prosecuting evidence in any court case against you. We do not supply this evidence to members of the public.

Appeals WILL NOT be considered for the following reasons:
• Your permit fell down.
• You forgot to display your permit.
• You did not know you had to display a permit.
• You are waiting to receive a permit.
• You have lost your permit and you did not inform anybody.
• There was nowhere else to park.
• You did not see the signs.
• You were 1 minute.
• You are disabled and you forgot to display your badge.
• You were told to park there.
